Our Acorn Slimline and Brooks Slimline 130 Stairlifts use power packs that are automatically recharged when at rest, this ensures that the Stairlift will continue to function even in the event of a power cut.
Our Stairlifts are whisper quiet and incredibly smooth. All of our Stairlifts have 24v DC motors that offer a soft start/stop action to avoid jolts and provide many years of trouble free service.
All of our Stairlifts come with two directional paddles one on each arm which move you up and down the stairs. This is an important feature that enables you to still use the Stairlift if either one fails or gets damaged
Each new Stairlift also comes with a 2 Year warranty. When you purchase a Stairlift from us you are buying freedom and peace of mind.
The track or rail that our lifts run along can be fitted directly to the stair treads rather than the wall. Tracks or rails that protrude over doorways and entrances for safety reasons by law require a fold up hinge section at the bottom which allows the track to be folded neatly away when not in use to eliminate a possible tripping hazard. A standard manual fold up hinge comes at no extra cost but a powered hinge costs extra based on the full length of the track which can be determined when the site survey is carried out.

The arms, seat and footrest all neatly fold away. With these features, the ultra slimline design of the Stairlift ensures that there’s plenty of room for other users of your staircase.
The Stairlift can be ‘called’ or ‘sent’ up or down the stairs when ever it’s needed, making it easy for multiple users to control the Stairlift.
If the Stairlift senses an obstruction, it will come to an immediate halt. There are five sensors: three on the footrest, and two on the main carriage.
The seat turns and then locks in position at 45° or 90°, ensuring that you get in and out of your Stairlift with ease.
Using the lift is as easy as pushing the armrest paddle in the direction of travel.
No major electrical installation needed as the Stairlift just plugs into a normal socket via a low voltage transformer.
